This year we will be running two cafes to avoid overcrowding. The sweets cafe will be offering cupcakes, brownies, tea, pocky and other assorted Japanese snacks. The uchi-cafe will be serving yakisoba, okonomiyaki, takoyaki, curry and rice, sushi, onigiri as well as the crowd pleasing UCJAS roll, so be sure to check out both food locations.

Uchi-Con in Previous Years

Uchi-con VIII is January 30th 2010!

The University of Chicago Japanese Animation Society welcomes Crispin Freeman, an American voice actor for Hellsing, Naruto, Eureka Seven, etc, will be speaking on Anime Mythology.

The convention will be held Saturday, January 30th from 11:00 am to 7:00pm in the University of Chicago's Harper building on 58th street and Ellis. Officers and volunteers need to arrive at 9:30 am for the preparations.
