• Iresponsible Captain Cube in all of it's shiny cubical (screw rectangular box sets!) glory responsibly handed from Andrew to Jim, complete with OST and novelized goodness.

 

• Sakura Party, next time:
  • sandwiches + substanial food item, because although we <3 the okashi, after 2 hours of Pocky-gnoshing we get unhappy

tummies but are unable to crunch any more snacks...

• artwork/decor: A++
• games: start with a specially designed ice-breaking game

(perhaps the 'who am I?' sign on the back)

• raffle: +200 (and then some) gold!
  • oh, and next time pull out the anime that not actually supposed to raffled because we're screening it the next week

It's true, we are truly lost without our leader.

KAICHOOOOOOOOOOOOU! *yakuza tears*

Even if we get to club early (shock!) we still can't start

things on time. ^^;

 

However, in the vacuum left by Sushu we somehow managed to

conduct an officer's meeting on the 7th Circle of Discord

instead of the Hell of Chaos Conference Room, and by that I

mean we stayed in Stewart instead of trekking to the Lounge

opposite Uncle Joes....

 

First we brainstormed up some new anime to show:

 

 

Also, Jono sang the entire Pokemon theme song...

 

Letter to speakers: Has been added to the wiki with

instructions on how to edit it

 

Logistics for Tylor Marathon:

 

I still say that it's not fair that we have to be responsible

for an irresponsible marathon, but...

after debate about when and for how long we can convince

people they have enough time left to procrastinate, we settled

on Reading Period Friday (Dec. 2) 1PM-11PM or so

..and apparently pizza, or so Jeremy informs us

 

Death Note: Kat and Eric flailed with much squeeing

 

Jono made imprompto sketches on the blackboard according to

whatever word popped caught his attention.

 

Jim made sure that the Rose Bride's presence was dually noted

on the recording of the meeting.

Prepare to be anthropologized!

 

Wiki: Temporarily public... slight issue with Googling of

names from the site, may have to lock it again when we want to

talk about Acen Skit stuff.

Minutes: WTF? Telephone = Gozonji kashira?

The great happenings of this week-

 

Destiny:

-Jim has proven that he can shill seashells by the shore surely so swelly as chicks cheep cheerily, and that he whole-heartedly intends to alter fate, moustache or no. Touche, Jim!

-Also, we popped the Utenda cherry of some kid who stuck around and tried to figure out how we run the club if we're all preoccupied playing games and fighting over a cult dog-puppet in some secret...

 

Screeners: Yeah, apparently Sushu has an itch for a REAL sports anime, where there's sweaty full-on bodily contact (enough of this pretending that go is sex!)

Many things were suggested, and I think perhaps Condor Heros was left out of this discussion. Honestly, if getting naked together in a field to 'try out a new technique' isn't sex, I mean, SPORTS, I don't know what is!

 

Asshats:

 

-Redundant Pink Form of Redundancy required if we have any 'sketchy' cash transactions on our reimbursement forms...

in addition to printed receipts, bank statements, vouchers of personal character, packing slips with the NAME _and_ PRICE of anime received, confirmation emails, oh, yeah, and a contract signed in blood promising them your eternal soul and your first-born child if you if you want to get reimbursed in full---don't hold your breath on that check arriving in anything resembling a _timely_ fashion, (let alone anything before 3834)

-Blank CDs? No, no, we're not going to be burning anything!! We're just using them to... pass them out as coasters at our marathon, so we don't leave unsightly watermarks on your tables... yeah!

 

Uchicon:

-Sushu sent emails to Buddhism Man, Berkley Chick (the alumnus , Sato or something?), and umm...other Shoujo Manga Chick, and if they don't respond in a couple days, she's going to send out other emails.

 

Tylor:

-Remember the Irresponsible Marathon is slated for Friday December 2nd from like 1-whenever we goddamn finish it's reading period and we WANT to be irresponsible goddamnit!

Whether or not we have a room secured for this, I don't know.

 

PanAsia:

-Bizarre Bazaar! We might wanna do it. Um, maybe... it's a possibility? We could make a stall out of posters and spare shinai?

-Also, we might invite that U of M Guy to talk about WW2...

 

Advent Children: Get it!

 

Skit:

-We're starting it after winter break...

so think about it!

 

Alien 9:

-Ending?? WHAT ending? No... one of our main characters did _not_ just get stabbed through the stomach in a very fatal-looking way in the montage sequence at the end of the final episode.

-Don't talk to giant whale-headed frogs sitting on top of your school... they're only waiting around to eat you so you can reappear as hundreds of gooey protrusions.
